OFFSHORE BOTTOM FISHING Full day only (10 hours) = $625 -- $100 deposit Let’s see what what’s hiding in the nearshore wrecks, artificial reefs, and live bottom areas. We’ll go up to 40 miles from shore in search of grouper, black sea bass, beeliners and other snapper species. Occasionally we hook into mahi-mahi, wahoo, and kings at these sites. This Is bottom fishing at its’ finest. Max load is 6 passengers.
GULFSTREAM OFFSHORE TROLLING and/or DEEP DROPPING Full day only (12 hours) = $925 (competition charges up to $1,400!) -- $150 deposit
We will travel up to 80 miles offshore to the continental shelf for big game trolling and/or chunking action. As opposed to the heavy, fuel thirsty, cabin cruiser sportfishers, I will not hesitate to travel as far as it takes to put you on the fish! Out here in the pristine blue waters of the gulfstream we target yellowfin/bluefin/albacore/blackfin tuna, mahi mahi, wahoo, billfish, and king mackerel. I provide world-class stand-up gear to ensure a fair and exciting battle with these magnificent creatures of the deep blue. Willing to trailer vessel as far north as Morehead City and as far South as Southport to get close to the hottest action. Unlike many other charter boats, I will mix up the day with some deep dropping for bottom dwellers (like giant grouper) if the offshore pelagic bite slows down. Max load is 4 passengers for trolling or 6 passengers for deep dropping on the shelf. I highly recommend booking a deep dropping trip out of Morehead City and we’ll live line for pelagics at same time. We regularly catch our limit of big (15 - 20 lb) red grouper out here.
SUNSET CRUISE ON INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY $90 an hour (2 hour minimum)-- $50 deposit
Cancellation Policy Full refund of deposit if you cancel before 48 hours. Your safety is our #1 priority. Captain retains right to cancel up to last minute due to inclement weather. My general rule of thumb is stay in port during thunderstorms or if wind is >15 knots and/or waves >5’ with short wave period. Full refund of deposit will be given for these unpredictable acts of nature.
